LAHORE: Lahore High Court Judge Mazhar Ali Akbar Naqvi on Wednesday indicted six, including two Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmakers for ho
lding an anti-judiciary rally in Kasur on the 13th of April.
The accused were present at the hearing and expressed remorse at organising the rally. They said that they were ashamed of ho
lding the rally and claimed that they had started a move in favour of the judiciary, and completely respected the institution.

ice Naqvi ordered the accused to submi
t an unconditional apology and appointed Punjab Additional Advocate General as the prosecutor.
The court is set to announce th
e indictment on the 11th of May.
Th
e indicted include Kasur Baitul Maal Chairperson Nasir Mehmood and Market Committee Chairperson Jameel Ahmed.
